What are feed-in tarrifs?

Generating energy for your home using solar power, provides a great way to tackle rising energy costs.  Of course, you'll also be generating a clean, environmentally-sound form of energy.  The benefits don't stop there though.

Surplus energy can be sold back to the national grid. The UK Government have introduced generous feed-in tariffs (FITs) to help encourage the small scale production of electricity.

This has helped to ensure that the choice of producing energy for your home or business remains very competitive.  In many cases, the initial investment provides great returns - if you have money in the bank, you're likely to experience a much better return on your investment, than you would through conventional means.
