I’m a home owner - how can I arrange for installation?

We only carry out the roofing work for other MCS (Micro-generation Certification Scheme) companies. We would be happy to put you in touch with the companies we work with, in your area.

What are feed-in tarrifs?

Generating energy for your home using solar power, provides a great way to tackle rising energy costs.  Of course, you'll also be generating a clean, environmentally-sound form of energy.  The benefits don't stop there though.

Surplus energy can be sold back to the national grid. The UK Government have introduced generous feed-in tariffs (FITs) to help encourage the small scale production of electricity.

What are photovoltaic cells?

We install photovoltaic cells to generate electricity for homes, offices and businesses operating in the UK.  Once solar energy has been properly harnessed, it provides a great way to produce a clean and environmentally-friendly source of energy.  The photovoltaic cells capture the sun's energy, and convert to a form of electricity that can be used to power all the electrical items you use in your home.

What kind of business relationship will we have?

As a company we would much rather have a few clients that we work closely with, and help each other grow. Some of the companies we work for are more than happy to use us as their main roofing contractors.

It may be that we are used as a stepping stone for companies to increase their business until they are ready to take on and train new members of staff. That's a big advantage of using our services, taking on new members of staff comes with a big responsibility; by sub-contracting work to us we can help your business grow without the risk until you are really ready.

Do you only provide quotes on a job-by-job basis?

We can provide a pricing structure for standardised retrofitting of panels with given information, for example; access requirements, type of roof covering and panel layouts etc.

What type of mountings do you use?

We currently use different mounting systems for different companies. One thing we do stipulate is that (for domestic jobs) we always attach the mounting system into the rafters for structural integrity. We do not use ‘quick fit’ systems that fit onto the batten. We do not use hanger bolts for slate roofs.
